Jennifer East Arts is a professional home crafter, a business focused on crafting and homemaking skills such as crochet, knitting, baking, and food photography. Growing up on an alpaca farm, Jennifer’s life has revolved around shearing, fibers, and crafting. Passionate about home crafting, it’s Jennifer’s goal to not only sell her products to others, but teach them the importance of keeping these skills alive for generations. Her ideal customer is primarily women of all ages interested in slow living, crafting, and animals.
Objective
Our goal was to create a brand that felt feminine, cozy, and elegant without losing the warm touch she brought to products. Outside of crafting or shearing, Jennifer’s family farm is known for rescuing rabbits abandoned throughout the years. It was this, along with her fun fact that the fur of angora rabbits can be spun into yarn, that inspired me to design a logo that would incorporate a rabbit as a nod to this and her recent pet rabbit.
